Loch Ness Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start, gradual warm-up
Runners will face a starting temperature of 54°F, rising to 61°F by the end of the race. With a tailwind throughout most of the course, particularly beneficial from miles 1 to 25, runners should take advantage of this for faster pacing. However, humidity levels at 74% suggest a need for consistent hydration, especially during the warmer later miles. Expect a challenging climb with headwinds at mile 27, necessitating a strong mental focus.
